MARIUSZ PRZYBYLSKI “KICK OFF” Spring/Summer 2027 Collection

Mariusz Przybylski Spring/Summer 2027 collection “KICK OFF” presented 30 powerful menswear looks exploring identity and contrast. At the centre of this collection is a contemporary understanding of masculinity shaped by lightness and strength, precision and joy, heritage and personal attitude.

The attitude expressed throughout the collection is open, conscious, confident, and full of movement placing themselves in opposition to traditional rigid masculinity. The unexpected combinations between light fabrics and fluid lines being paired with strong constructions and expressive prints defined the visual energy of the collection, balancing softness and structure.

The philosophy of the collection was translated into the space itself, a socialist-realist building in eastern Berlin, providing an industrial character that juxtaposed the handcrafted decorations inspired by Polish folk art. Tradition and modernity came together in one cohesive image reflecting the multilayered visual language of the collection.

Cultural references were embedded in the Polish jazz that accompanied the presentation, alongside models cast entirely in Poland. Emphasis was shifted away from conventional beauty ideals and instead placed on personality and a distinctive form of masculinity.

Mariusz Portret

Mariusz Przybylski

“What interests me about masculinity today is that it is something fluid. It can be strong, but also light. It can be elegant, but also free. For me, tension arises precisely where these opposites meet and do not need to be resolved”
